Below is a short video clip captured on a regular camera during the Sunday AM service. Natasha is singing. Yuri and Natasha are a young couple in the church. She is in the masters program at the university and they have a wonderful heart for God. Yuri works part time for the church and does side jobs as well to help provide. They, like many Ukranians, live without much income and we can see the love in their hearts as they work in the church trying to help others around them.
Yes, this was a regular church room. No dock, alligators, water or nets before we started. We hope it still looks like this when we get to the church this morning. The tape was *barely* holding the columns together.
The girls helped us decorate and hang things in the rooms with intermittent playing between decoration sessions.
Those of us with "height advantage" were able to hang things fro the ceiling and we did our best to decorate "female style" with twists and bends so as to make things presentable. We didn't want to decorate "like men" as apparently that is very boring :-).Off we go to VBS this morning! More later as time allows!!!
By the time I read your blog in the morning you have already finished VBS for the day. I hope all went well and I know that at times it seems like "organized chaos" but God is in the midst and He will bless all that you do.
